Emerald Tower Rainforest Lodge

Madewini Creek

Beach and black water creek Emerald Tower Rainforest Lodge is about a one hour drive from Georgetown on the Madewini Creek and is surrounded by rainforest. Built so as to preserve the environment, the resort has a wide variety of flora and fauna. The bird life is excellent, boasting over 170 species.

Miles of trails through the forest provide excellent hikes and nature walks. Four individual cabins with creek views and private bathrooms are located a short walk from the main lodge where meals are served. The main lodge and the surrounding lawns are the centre of activity with a bar, table tennis, mini-golf, table football, board games and cricket.

Main lodge and dining area The white sand beach and black water creek offer swimming, canoeing, fishing and a cabana which is the perfect location for barbecues and parties. The beautiful location of Emerald Tower-Madewini can be enjoyed on a day trip or overnight. Once there you can enjoy all of the activities and meals will be served in the Amerindian-built main lodge which features a Troolie palm roof. Emerald Tower is also an excellent choice for small conferences and retreats.
